OpenAI and ServiceNow expand partnership across enterprise workflows

OpenAI and ServiceNow expand their partnership with a ChatGPT integration, joint security tools and ChatGPT Work and Codex for all ServiceNow staff.
OpenAI and ServiceNow announced an expansion of the partnership they began in January.
A new integration lets teams find incidents, assess change risk and update ServiceNow records from inside ChatGPT, governed by existing permissions through ServiceNow's Action Fabric.
The companies plan a Codex integration in ServiceNow's AI Workflow Factory, a joint security product for vulnerability investigation and remediation, and voice features in the Super Intelligence Control Tower, and ServiceNow will give all employees ChatGPT Work and Codex.
The MCP plugin is available now, with the security tools in early access in January 2027 and generally available in the second quarter of 2027.
