AI's Production Push Puts Data Platforms on the Hook for Results
SiliconANGLE, Friday, October 30th, 2026
Cloudera's chief customer officer says data access, sovereignty and cost are the barriers to moving AI from pilot to measurable production results.
Speaking at Cloudera EVOLVE26, Patricia Bogoevici said Cloudera folded its post-sales teams under one leader so customers get a single voice from onboarding to renewal, aimed at helping them get value from technology already bought.
She said barriers fall into data access, which about 80% of more than 1,300 IT specialists in a study named as the biggest obstacle, then governance and sovereignty across siloed data with differing location rules.
She noted not all data can or should move to the cloud, and the conversation is shifting from what AI can do to making it pay off.
