Amazon Managed Grafana Now Supports In-Place Upgrade to Grafana Version 13.2

AWS, Thursday, October 29th, 2026

Amazon Managed Grafana supports in-place upgrade from Grafana 12.4 to 13.2, adding Git Sync, dynamic dashboards and PromQL in the CloudWatch plugin.

Amazon Managed Grafana now supports in-place upgrade from Grafana 12.4 to 13.2, bringing features from open-source versions 13.0 to 13.2.

Git Sync links a workspace to a Git repository so dashboard changes can be tracked, reviewed and reverted.

Dynamic dashboards allow responsive layouts driven by data and variables, and the CloudWatch data source plugin gains PromQL query support.

The upgrade takes a few clicks in the console, SDK or CLI, in all regions where the service is generally available.
