Bitdefender's New Tool Maps How Attackers Could Reach Critical Systems

The Next Web, Tuesday, October 27th, 2026

Bitdefender launched GravityZone Exposure Management to find weaknesses and map the paths attackers could take to critical systems.

Bitdefender has launched GravityZone Exposure Management, available now for Windows as an add-on or standalone product, with other platforms to follow and pricing not disclosed.

The tool finds unpatched software, weak settings and risky user behavior, scans internet-facing exposure and maps attack paths, and includes PHASR, which learns how each user works and limits tools like PowerShell to what they need.

In a Bitdefender survey of 1,200 security workers, 38% named keeping rules and exceptions current as their biggest obstacle.

The Next Web ties the launch to AI accelerating flaw discovery, citing Microsoft's record 1,400 fixes in October.
