AWS Delivers AI Service to Discover Vulnerabilities and Generate Patches

DevOps.com, Tuesday, October 27th, 2026

AWS made its Continuum service for code vulnerabilities generally available to find, validate and prioritize flaws and generate patches.

DevOps.com reports that AWS Continuum for code vulnerabilities is now generally available.

Built on an AI agent and context graph, it discovers and validates vulnerabilities, uses code and AWS environment context to judge exploitability, attack paths and business impact, and proposes fixes that teams can apply or open as pull requests.

It can also generate threat models and be invoked from an IDE or CLI through the Model Context Protocol.

AWS director of applied science Neha Rungta said generated fixes currently need human review, with more autonomous patching expected as confidence grows.
