At SAP TechEd, SAP announced Joule, AI gateway, governance, data, and foundation model updates for AI developers.
At SAP TechEd in Berlin, SAP announced enhancements to Joule Studio, Joule Work, and the SAP Business AI Platform for building and governing agents, with Joule Work adding multistep planning and support for Agent2Agent and Model Context Protocol.
SAP introduced an Enterprise AI Gateway for managing AI traffic and an AI Governance Assistant for EU AI Act requirements.
Data updates include an ontology authoring tool for SAP Business Data Cloud, lakehouse integrations with Dremio and Databricks, and multidomain master data management through SAP Reltio.
SAP also unveiled SAP-RPT-2.0 and a time-series forecasting model, and plans with HPE to run SAP-RPT on the International Space Station.
