Data Center Knowledge, Wednesday, October 7th, 2026
HPE launches AMD Epyc Venice-powered ProLiant Gen13 servers aimed at enterprise AI inference, agentic AI and traditional workloads.
HPE unveiled its first four ProLiant Gen13 servers, all powered by AMD's sixth-generation Epyc Venice processors, with automated security and expanded management.
The flagship DL585a Gen13, due in March 2027, supports up to eight Nvidia, AMD or Intel GPUs for inference, agentic AI and RAG fine-tuning, while the 1U DL525 with up to 256 cores ships in November 2026.
Two CPU-based rack-scale systems, the XD245 and XD285, target large enterprises and neoclouds, and analysts see HPE moving aggressively on enterprise AI demand.
