Hitachi Vantara Strengthens Data Security With Common Criteria-Certified VSP One Block

Hitachi Vantara's VSP One Block storage earns Common Criteria certification, validating its security for regulated and government users.
Hitachi Vantara announced that its Virtual Storage Platform One Block has achieved Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) certification, evaluated against the Protection Profile for Network Devices 3.0e.
The evaluation covered security auditing, cryptographic support, authentication, security management and trusted communications, and the certificate was issued under Japan's JISEC scheme with mutual recognition among CCRA member nations.
Hitachi Vantara says the independent validation helps government and regulated organizations with vendor assessments, procurement and risk management.
