Commvault adds discovery, protection and recovery for AI agent configurations and data on employee Windows and macOS laptops.
Commvault now lets IT and security teams discover, protect and recover agent configurations and AI data from Claude Cowork, Claude Code and OpenClaw on managed Windows and macOS devices.
That preserves prompt libraries, custom instructions and AI context when laptops are lost or replaced, while giving security teams visibility into shadow AI tools installed outside approved processes.
Discovery of the ChatGPT desktop app is available now, with other tools coming in months, at no extra cost as part of Commvault's AgentRecover.
