Oracle, Friday, October 9th, 2026
OKE now supports Kubernetes v1.37, including HPA scale-to-zero in beta and stable Pod certificates and DRA improvements.
Oracle announced support for Kubernetes v1.37 on OCI Kubernetes Engine, highlighted by HorizontalPodAutoscaler scale-to-zero in beta, which lets workloads using object or external metrics drop to zero Pods when idle.
Features reaching stable include resilient watch cache initialization to protect etcd, Pod certificates with ClusterTrustBundles for workload X.509 identity, and Dynamic Resource Allocation improvements for GPUs and NICs.
Customers can create or upgrade clusters via Console, CLI, API, SDK or Terraform.
