OpenAI releases new mathematical results from an internal frontier model via GitHub, with Lean formalizations.
OpenAI is releasing a broad range of new mathematical results produced by an internal frontier model, after consulting the independent Advisory Group on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at the Institute for Advanced Study on best practices for sharing them.
The results are published in a GitHub repository with protocols for paper revisions and citations, along with Lean formalizations of many proofs.
OpenAI is also publishing details on how the results were obtained, including summaries of the model's reasoning.
