Announcing MCP Toolbox Java SDK v1.0: Agentic Data Access for the Enterprise

Google, Tuesday, October 6th, 2026

Google's MCP Toolbox Java SDK hit v1.0, bringing type-safe agent access to enterprise databases via the Model Context Protocol.

The post explains how the Model Context Protocol replaces N-times-M custom integrations between models and data sources with a universal interface, and walks through a real-world example and getting-started steps.
