Dell Connected Provisioning uses factory and transit time to pre-provision Windows Autopilot devices before users open them.
Dell Connected Provisioning completes more deployment work in the factory and during transit so PCs are closer to ready when they reach users.
Built on Windows Autopilot for pre-provisioned deployments, it complements Microsoft's cloud-led model, including the new Device Association capability, since Autopilot and Device Preparation otherwise start only after the box is opened.
The approach targets frontline workers, clinicians and remote employees who lack local IT support and would otherwise wait for apps, updates and policies.
