The End of Single-Player AI

Atlassian's Team '26 Europe founder update argues AI must become multiplayer, with agents working alongside human teammates.
In a Team '26 Europe update, Atlassian argues that most AI adoption starts in single-player mode, with one person typing into a chat window, which speeds up individuals but does little for teams.
The real shift comes when AI becomes multiplayer, and Atlassian presents AMP as the foundation for human-agent teamwork, giving agents the context, visibility and permissions to contribute safely.
Examples include briefing an agent with a Loom video, @mentioning one in a Confluence doc or Jira thread, and connecting tools such as Figma or an IDE through MCP.
