Solutions Review, Thursday, October 1st, 2026

Solutions Review's report says security is becoming AI-native, with tempo replacing tooling as the defining variable.

Solutions Review introduces its State of Cybersecurity 2026 report, arguing AI is becoming part of cybersecurity's underlying architecture rather than just a product feature, as attackers and defenders move to machine speed, AI agents add new identities and behaviors, and applications change faster than ever, making tempo the defining variable.

The report examines identity, endpoint, data and application, cloud and network security, and security operations.

In identity, it stresses governing humans, machines and AI agents, with attribution of which entity acted and on whose behalf becoming critical.
