Cohere launches Embed 5 in Pro and Fast tiers, multimodal embedding models sharing one vector space with 128K context.
Cohere released Embed 5, a family of embedding models for enterprise retrieval offered in Pro and Fast tiers that share a unified embedding space, so teams can index with Pro and query with Fast without re-indexing.
Both support multimodal inputs, more than 100 languages and a 128K-token context window.
Cohere says Embed 5 Pro posted the highest average score in its tests, with particular strength on financial documents and parsed PDFs, and the models are available via the Cohere API, Model Vault, Microsoft Foundry and Amazon SageMaker.
