Ubuntu, Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026
Canonical published an end-to-end guide to fine-tuning a custom LLM chatbot using Charmed Kubeflow and Feast.
Canonical provides an end-to-end tutorial for fine-tuning a chatbot on the nampdn-ai/tiny-webtext dataset using Charmed Kubeflow, its enterprise MLOps platform, run on Kubernetes.
The guide requires an Ubuntu 24.04 LTS machine with at least 32GB RAM and 16 cores, a Hugging Face account for the dataset, and basic Linux and Kubernetes familiarity.
Charmed Kubeflow can run on a laptop, a homelab cluster, or scale to a full data-center AI factory with GPU accelerators, and is also available as a managed service inside a customer's own Azure tenancy. All required files are provided in an accompanying GitHub repository.
