Claude Opus 5.5 on Snowflake Cortex AI

Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 is now in public preview across Snowflake Cortex AI with lower costs and faster output.
Claude Opus 5.5 is available in public preview across Snowflake CoCo, CoWork, Cortex Agents, Cortex AI Functions and Cortex Inference, with all calls staying inside Snowflake's security perimeter.
Anthropic reports major coding gains over Opus 5, including one tester completing a 680,000-line code migration in under a day and another auditing a 200,000-line codebase in three hours versus 20-plus hours previously.
On Terminal-Bench 4.0, Anthropic reports a 66.4% score versus 52.3% for Opus 5. Anthropic also says Opus 5.5 costs 40% less than Opus 5 on typical workloads and produces output over 30% faster.
