Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 STIG Automation Now Matches DISA STIG V1R2

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 now has a complete DISA STIG profile matching V1R2, giving DoD and contractors a compliance baseline.
The Defense Information Systems Agency published a Security Technical Implementation Guide for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 in March 2026, and Red Hat says the scap-security-guide 0.1.82 STIG profile is now available, bringing RHEL 10 to full STIG maturity matching DISA's V1R2 baseline.
STIG compliance is required for information systems connecting to DoD networks, so the updated profile gives the Department of Defense and its contractors an automated way to validate RHEL 10 against that published security baseline.
