Huntress describes Athena, an agentic orchestrator built to work alongside human SOC analysts rather than replace them, under a 'humans in the lead' approach to keeping pace with AI-accelerated attacks.
In a monthlong test on identity threat detection and response investigations, Athena reached correct outcomes 97% of the time versus 95% for human analysts on high-volume, low-complexity cases.
Huntress also introduced an Investigations View giving partners a full timeline of every investigation, including ones never escalated to a report, along with expanded read/write APIs, webhooks, and a read-only MCP server for pulling data through chat interfaces.
