Darktrace / SECURE AI: Behavioral Security for the AI Enterprise

Darktrace, Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026

Darktrace launched SECURE AI, extending its behavioral security approach to AI usage, prompts, agents, and development.

Darktrace introduced Darktrace / SECURE AI, applying its behavioral security approach to AI usage, prompts, agents, and development as adoption accelerates.

The company notes over 80% of its customers now use generative AI services, with organizations interacting with an average of five different AI providers in a recent month, creating exposure that operates outside traditional security controls.

Darktrace argues rule-based tools built for known signatures can't judge whether a prompt or an agent's permissions matter in context, since AI behavior is adaptive and unpredictable.

Instead it extends its approach of modeling normal behavior across users, systems, and agents to flag drift or compromise as it emerges.
