Cohesity added deferred execution for quorum, letting approved changes wait for a maintenance window without re-approval.
Cohesity Data Cloud's quorum feature requires two or more authorized people to approve a critical change before it happens, but enterprises often approve a change days before a scheduled maintenance window when it can safely run.
Cohesity's new deferred execution capability lets a quorum-protected action be approved during the normal change-control approval schedule and then executed only when the maintenance window opens, avoiding stale tickets, extra CAB cycles, or waking an approver at 2 a.m. to re-sign off.
This helps organizations under frameworks like ITIL or SOX keep governance intact between approval and execution, with enforced windows and a full audit trail.
