Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL now supports post-quantum TLS key exchange for versions 18 and higher.
Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL now supports post-quantum TLS (PQ-TLS) key exchange, giving customers post-quantum cryptography options for encrypting data in transit.
RDS for PostgreSQL versions 18 and higher support modifying the ssl_groups parameter, letting customers select cryptographic groups from an allow list to align with their organization's security standards.
The feature can be configured when creating or updating a database through the RDS Management Console or the AWS CLI.
