Java 27 Delivers Post-Quantum Cryptography, Future Language Innovation, Helidon 27, JavaFX 27

Java 27 released with post-quantum cryptography support and nine JEPs focusing on security and performance.
Oracle released Java 27 with nine JEPs, five still in preview or incubator stages. Key features include post-quantum hybrid key exchange for TLS 1.3, making G1 the default garbage collector, and compact object headers.
The release also introduces Helidon 27, JavaFX 27, and Oracle Jipher 20, all part of the Java Verified Portfolio.
JDK 28, expected March 2027, will introduce Project Valhalla features including value classes and strict field initialization.
