Rubrik Gives Customer AI Agents Access to Its Protection and Resilience Data

Blocks & Files details Rubrik MCP, which lets customer AI agents query Rubrik telemetry and run recovery workflows.
Blocks & Files reports that Rubrik has added Model Context Protocol support so customer AI agents, including Claude, Copilot and in-house builds, can query Rubrik telemetry and trigger recovery workflows while staying inside existing access controls and security policies.
Rubrik's CTO frames MCP as a way to connect agents into the company's governance framework as threats move at machine speed.
The company also unveiled Code Guardian, which runs Claude against air-gapped copies of customer code to identify attack chains, validate exploitability and rank findings by business criticality before pushing confirmed issues into Jira or GitHub.
Rubrik MCP is in private preview with general availability targeted for October 2026.
