VentureBeat reports that Cohere has added an encrypted tier to its Model Vault single-tenant inference platform, built on confidential computing.
Workloads run in hardware that encrypts memory on both the CPU (Intel TDX or AMD SEV-SNP) and NVIDIA GPUs, so neither Cohere nor the underlying cloud provider can read plaintext prompts or outputs.
Every inference emits a signed attestation report letting customers verify the exact hardware, software and security policies protecting the run.
Cohere says it will open-source the serving stack for independent auditor validation and register golden configuration values with Intel's Trust Authority.
