Salesforce introduced AIforce, an interface layer that pushes its business logic, semantics, security and governance out to wherever users already run AI agents, instead of requiring them to come to Salesforce.
SiliconANGLE frames it as a step beyond the typical MCP wiring pattern, where agents merely attach to data sources.
The initial release includes Claudeforce, Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker, each surfacing Salesforce capabilities inside a different agent surface.
The strategic bet is that the CRM becomes a governed capability layer for other companies' agents rather than a destination application.
