Salesforce describes the Winter '27 release as a shift in how AI agents operate inside the enterprise.
Instead of helping employees one task at a time, agents now run complete workflows such as qualifying pipeline, resolving service cases, booking appointments and underwriting risk.
They operate end to end across the channels companies already use, from Slack and Teams to voice and legacy enterprise systems. Salesforce argues the trust foundation is governed CRM data, which is what makes handing off whole workflows rather than single questions viable.
