KnowBe4 extended its Defend email security product to Google Workspace with multi-engine behavioral AI detection.
KnowBe4 announced that KnowBe4 Defend now supports Google Workspace, extending protection to an environment Google says serves more than three billion active users.
The company frames the launch as a response to a dilemma facing security leaders on Workspace: choosing between opaque AI black boxes and legacy gateways that ignore end-user education.
Defend for Google Workspace is not a bolt-on but the same multi-engine behavioral AI threat detection KnowBe4 offers elsewhere. The product pairs detection of sophisticated AI-driven attacks with in-context user coaching rather than silent filtering.
