VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1.1 reaches general availability with tougher security and vSAN Object Storage in tech preview.
Broadcom announced general availability of VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1.1, following VMware Explore in Las Vegas and the VCF 9.1 launch in May. The release builds on VCF 9.1 with hardened security and vSAN Object Storage in tech preview, previously announced.
It adds capabilities aimed at making private cloud infrastructure easier to run at scale. The post frames 9.1.1 as the incremental hardening release on top of the 9.1 platform foundation.
