The Rise Of The AI-Advised Executive - Confident Answers, Out-Of-Date Data

Executives increasingly defer to AI recommendations built on stale data, and collaboration is suffering.
Dor Zakai examines a shift in which 62% of leaders now use AI for major decisions, while 71% say data is already out of date by the time it reaches them - a combination that undermines the advice they are acting on.
The research cited also finds 65% of leaders believe AI has made decision-making less collaborative inside their organizations, and roughly seven in ten second-guess their own judgment when it conflicts with an AI recommendation.
Organizations are responding by hiring data streaming engineers so real-time information flows into these systems, on the reasoning that AI quality depends on data currency more than model sophistication.
