Google DeepMind has made Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash available to developers through its APIs, bringing a new suite of creative controls and generative video capabilities.
The model now delivers studio-quality video production features including the ability to extend an existing scene, first and last frame interpolation for controlled transitions, and crisp 4K upscaling.
Google also cites faster prototyping as a benefit of the Flash variant, where iteration speed matters more than maximum quality per generation. The release targets developers building video tooling who need directable output rather than one-shot generation.
