Cohere has introduced Parse, which converts complex documents, tables and images into structured data that AI systems can search or act on.
The company describes it as a high-throughput vision parsing model with what it says is the strongest price-performance profile on the market.
Document parsing is the unglamorous bottleneck in most enterprise AI deployments: the knowledge organizations want their systems to use sits in PDFs, scanned forms and spreadsheets whose structure is visual rather than semantic.
Parse targets that conversion step at enterprise volume rather than as a per-document operation.
