Salesforce extends Data 360 through headless access so external agents, apps and developer tools can query governed data.
Salesforce introduced Data 360 Headless, extending Data 360 so any authorized agent, application or developer tool can use it.
The author opens with a demonstration given in Chicago in which Claude queried a live Salesforce org in front of practitioners, running real queries against real data.
The reaction, they note, was not amazement at the AI but something quieter about what it implied for architecture. The capability targets teams that want Salesforce data available to tools outside the Salesforce user interface. Access remains governed rather than opened wholesale.
