Okta launches three capabilities to manage AI agent access and identity tracking in enterprise systems.
AI agents in enterprise environments create identity and access management challenges, with 90% of organizations acknowledging their identity practices need improvement.
Okta's new offerings, Agent Gateway, Agent-to-Agent Connections and Resource Access Certifications, address the full agent lifecycle by verifying identities, brokering short-lived credentials, securing agent communications and enabling periodic access reviews.
The tools help security teams determine which agent acted, what authority it used and whether access should continue, while preventing credential exposure from prompt injection or model compromise.
