Sophos Fusion Launches as an AI-Native Cybersecurity Defense System

Sophos launched Fusion, an AI-native defense system unifying endpoint, firewall, email, cloud, identity and SecOps on one architecture.
Sophos introduced Sophos Fusion, which it calls the industry's first and most complete AI-native cybersecurity defense system and the evolution of Sophos Central, used by 625,000 organizations.
Fusion puts every control point on a shared context lake so endpoint, firewall, email, cloud, network and identity signals feed the same real-time data layer, with Synchronized Security coordinating responses across the estate.
Agentic AI handles detection and response within human-defined boundaries; Sophos says its own SOC resolves 52% of cases entirely with AI at an average 89 seconds from alert to action.
The open architecture supports more than 500 third-party integrations, and planned additions include a next-gen SIEM in August 2026 plus AI Defense and CISO Advantage in October 2026.
