AWS announced general availability of OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, and Luna models on Amazon Bedrock. The three variants span different performance and cost tiers within what AWS describes as OpenAI's most capable model family to date.
They run on Bedrock's next-generation inference engine, built for high performance, security, and reliability at enterprise scale.
Availability through Bedrock lets customers use the models under existing AWS identity, networking, and governance controls rather than through a separate provider integration.
