At the beginning of the pandemic, many organizations pulled back on their IT spending because of uncertainty about how their businesses would be impacted.
Though IT spending bounced back in many regions in 2021 and 2022, spending is expected to settle somewhere in the middle worldwide in 2023 amid concerns about the economy. Despite this decline, investment in cloud is still recognized as a priority across organizations.
Graham Johnson, Sr. Manager of Global Customer and Market Insights at VMware, has undertaken a recent survey of IT leaders to find out how they're prioritizing their cloud initiatives in the coming year.
