Oracle Extends Fast Cloud Interoperability To Asia With Microsoft Azure Through New Tokyo Site

Oracle continues to forge the expansion of our cloud interoperability collaboration with Microsoft Azure into Asia with a new cloud interconnect location in Tokyo

"This new Tokyo interconnection will enable businesses to share data across applications running in Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud. This facility joins interconnect locations already operating in Amsterdam, London, Ashburn, Virginia, and Toronto.

In this effort, Oracle is meeting surging enterprise demand for multi-cloud capabilities worldwide, including in Japan and the broader APAC region. The goal of the overall collaboration, announced in June 2019, is to make it faster and easier for enterprises to move their workloads from internal data centers to the cloud that best suits each application..."
