Most Demos of Setting up a new server walk you through the wizard, and never touch on the important things like security, best practices, and more detailed settings that are used in business settings. This demo will do a more detailed, step by step installation of SQL via a config file, and setting attributes via PowerShell for a faster consistent deployment process. From the initial planning, to installing SQL setting service accounts with security in mind. Settings like listening and mirroring ports, firewall, dedicated admin connection all via Powershell, This demo provides a multi layered approach to creating a more secure new SQL instance.
